Concentration courses in Year 2 and 3. – Eligible students should have taken a min. of 5 major Literary & Comparative Studies courses |
3 | Madam Po Chun Leung Memorial Scholarship |
– Local student in BA English with the highest GPA in major
Literary & Comparative Studies courses at the end of the 1st
semester of year 4. – Eligible students should have taken a min. of 5 major Literary & Comparative Studies courses. |
4 | Excellent Honours Project Award (Language) |
– A final year student with the best Honours Project report of the year in the area of syntax, semantics or language acquisition |
5 | Phonetics & Phonology Prize |
– For best BA (Eng) Honours Project in the area of Phonetics and Phonology, with a minimum grade of A- – Should there be no qualified candidate in a particular round, then no prize would be given |
6 | Rainbow Award for Honours Project on Social Justice |
– Final year student who produces the best Honours Project of the year in the area of social justice. – Eligible students should have obtained a minimum grade of B+ for their undergraduate Honours Projects undertaken at the Department of English Language and Literature. |
